Wonder Play in the Demigod Realm
Playing Wonders against the best players that the Demi Realm has to offer can be quite overwhelming at times, or maybe all the time. Wonder features can potentially have two different “best” setups, one for Wonder attacking and one for Wonder holding. Hopefully, the Wonder Quick Guide will give you a jump start on your way to becoming king!
Best Wonder Gear
The Wonder is a place where the best of the best, and the most upgraded/maxed players go head to head. This is not a place for subpar gear. Therefore, only the highest leveled gear will be seen on heroes fighting for the Wonder.
With the new Fiendish Gear release, we are now starting to make the rounds of gear again. This round is again much simpler with only three different choices in gear. The March size increase and debuffs are added into each gear set instead of being its own separate set. It’s also much less likely that you will need two sets for Wonder battles, as the rallying and holding stats are in the same gear set as well.

Best Runes for Wonder
New Runes that recently were released changed everything up a bit. Usually, we see three new sets and one is filled with Wonder stats. Since MZ has been focusing more on type stats, the Runes followed suit. Now we have three new Rune sets that contain Attack, Defense, Health, and Wonder stats specific to one troop type in each set.
For the guide, the recommendation will be focused on the highest possible evenly distributed stats. The best part is the choice combinations that will be interesting to each individual during the Wonder battle itself.

Gems for Wonder
Gems for the Wonder can also be a bit tedious. However, if you are building a Wonder account and buying packs like a Wonder account, you will have plenty of mats for a second set of gear. Therefore, you want to set up a Wonder holding preset and a Wonder rally preset. Then, gem accordingly. Gems are a great place to make up for your shortcomings in other areas. For example, if your inside buildings give you more attack, then stack up on health in your gems.

Wonder Banners
We listed quite a few options because a lot of the banners come from rewards streak, and there may be some that were missed if you didn’t complete a certain streak. But as we all know, Wonder players are the top of the top. Not to mention that Wonder accounts are all maxed, or within 1-2%, and it comes down to the littlest of features like who has better banners, gems, gear, etc.

Special Fifth Slot: This can be changed according to holding or attacking Wonder, but you have to be aware of the cooldown periods as well.

Wonder Monsters
The Monsters are again divided between holding and attacking the wonders. With each choice, we have listed both the Rallying and the Holding Monster counterparts.

Best Potions for Wonder
Now, you could choose to make two separate potions, one for holding and one for attacking, but then you would have to make multiples of each recipe and waste a lot of materials. Each time you needed to switch from a Wonder holding potion to a Wonder attacking potion, the old potion would be completely discarded.
Even though the timer shows days, the instant you switch, the potion is thrown away. Because of this, we choose to make an overall potion that focuses on maxing attack and health.

- VIAL: Torrential Rally WH
- Lemon Nuts – Troop Attack 60k
- Blush Leaf- Type Attack 65k
- Smaragdine Fungus- 55k Troop Health
- Lime Shrimp- 60k Type Health
- Lime Shell or Smaragdine Stingers- Rally/WH Attack 55k
- Smaragdine Antlers Rally/WH Health 65k
Cyanic Nuts and Cyanic Fungus are the Rally W/H Attack Debuff and Rally W/H Health Debuff if you prefer debuffs.
Extras
Buildings
The way you set up your buildings will have a huge effect on your Wonder game. It may not seem like a lot when you look at the stats of one building, but when you combine them together, it really adds up!
Rural Buildings
Mines currently give you attack versus a battlemark target. This is great for an account that rallies other cities, but not so great for Wonders. Farms add Desert Storm attack. Logging camps give additional Gushing Lava attack.
Consequently, the Quarries add Whirlpool attack. Since these are all type attacks, you want to have equal amounts to give an equal additional attack to each type of troop.
Urban Buildings
Villas are tricky because not all levels give additional troop attack, so make sure you pay attention to that. Barracks offer Troop Health, and Hospitals offer Troop Defense. You will more than likely end up changing the number of villas, barracks, and hospitals multiple times. Some players will go all villas for attack, all barracks for health, or even a customized mix.
Special Buildings
First and foremost, make sure you are activating the boost in the Boost Hall. Boost Hall is super important! Next, make sure you are leveling the special buildings in order of stat priority for Wonder accounts.
You don’t want to waste upgrade mats on a building that only gives empire defending stats. Also, don’t forget to activate the deities in the pantheon! For more information on the special buildings, you can check out the Demi Special Building Guide.
Boosts
Consumable Boost
When you are going for the Wonder, you want to make sure you have enough boost to last. There are six that you should be using at all times. (Demigod) Attack, Defense, Wonder Holding Attack, Wonder Holding Health, Rally Attack, Rally Health. I know boost can seem scarce at times, but even the smallest amounts add up.
Lifetime Stacking Boost
These are the boosts that you receive in packs. Once you purchase the pack, the boost is active and remains active forever and ever. Again, this is an instant where you can purchase more, and stack those boosts to make a greater amount!
Hero
Heroes take a lot of testing. In some cases, a newer hero at 100 can easily beat an older hero level 150. You want to make sure that you are comparing the stats of each hero no matter what the level. Make sure you know each hero’s strengths and weaknesses. This way you can easily judge your opponent’s strengths and weaknesses based on the hero he/she may be using as well.
Medusa
This should go without saying, but just in case, make sure that you have some medusas trained and ready to go. Adding just one greatly reduces the march time into the Wonder. Since Wonders are all about timing, you want to make sure you are getting into that Wonder as fast as you can.
We are all hoping that one day soon we will no longer need to train those medusas anymore. It’s so frustrating having to cancel a Wonder rally because there is no medusa. Likewise, it’s also just as annoying to burn if you made too many.
Last But Not Least
The Wonder is the most intricate part of Game of War, by far. This guide is just a basis, or a starting point, for anyone who wants to start trying Wonder battles. However, you will need to make sure that you go over your account with a fine-tooth comb.
Check your Boost Hall, make sure avatars are open and active, get your gear leveled, focus on your buildings. Wonders are for players that know their accounts inside and out. Test setups. Get in there and hit someone! Then, look at your report, see what you need to adjust, and then hit again. There is so much that you can customize inside. your account! Lastly, have fun with it!
