The New Demi Monster Lair

The Monster Lair is an essential part of every player’s city. If you are a lead, you choose monsters to add to your march. As a defender, you choose monsters to protect your wall. In addition, the actual Lair itself gives stats and feature upgrades as you level up. Today we will go through the features, then talk about the stats from the Lair and monsters.

Favorite Monster

One of the new features in your Monster Lair is the ability to “favorite” your monster. This is a new feature that will save time and save your sanity. Instead of scrolling to find the monster that you want, it will be at the top of the list once you open the monster list. I don’t know about anyone else, but this takes away a lot of frustration and cuts down the time it takes to send a march. So, how do you mark your favorite monster?

  1. Open your Monster Lair
  2. Click the right tab labeled “Favorite Monster”
  3. Choose your favorite monsters, then you will see them jump to the top of the list

If you ever decide that you no longer want a certain monster as your favorite, no worries! You can choose the “unfavorite” button and it will return to the list below.

Additional Monster March

This caused a bit of a stir at first over the wording in the blog post. However, it is confirmed that this feature gives you the ability to send two marches, both with monsters, at the same time. Previously a player could send multiple marches, however, only one march could contain a monster. While many speculate the purpose of this, the biggest benefit I see could be in Wonder Battles. If you’re facing an opponent that is giving you some trouble, think about sending in a heroless monster march with all one troop type (missile) to hit 10 seconds before your full wonder rally hits. This could give you just enough of an edge to kick them out of the wonder.

New Monsters

Once you level up to 1215, there are four more Demigod monsters available to unlock. While we are used to monsters being available when we need them, these three needed to be unlocked. Athena sent monster unlock in our mail so that we could at least unlock these monsters when we hit 1215.
