If you were not around much before Demigods were released in Game of War, then you may not fully understand just exactly what the Pantheon is. Today we will take a look back at the original purpose, and then see how it has evolved into the Demigod Pantheon it is today.
The Pantheon- What is it?
“The Pantheon is a building in your empire that allows you to invoke the power of Zeus and other Deities in your marches against other empires. Each Deity can provide a unique bonus that will allow you to flatten your enemies” Look up the general description of the Pantheon, that quote is exactly how the building is explained to us. So, what does that translate to in game?
Dieties and Tributes
Tributes
What exactly is a Tribute anyway? Tributes are essentially sacrifices that are made to God(s). So, when you send a rally, you need each troop to have a tribute. If each troop has a tribute, then the Gods will grant you extra stats to help you in your rallies. So, if your rally size is 3 billion, then you need 3 billion tributes to send as well. Where do you find these tributes? They are sold in almost every single pack.
After that, you can check the tribute bar at the top of the Pantheon main page to see how many tributes you have. There are Demigod Tributes and then Tributes listed under those. The Demigod Tributes are the only ones that matter because we only send Demigod troops in rallies. If you do not have enough tributes listed, you can press the green + button to open more tributes in your items. If you press a green + and the screen does not show any, then you need to buy more tributes.
Pro Tip: If you do not have tributes then the Deity boost WILL NOT be active during a rally, even if your Deity is shown as activated in the main Pantheon page,
Deities
Deities are the stats bonuses that you will have added to your rallies in lieu of each soldier sacrificing a tribute. Each Deity gives a specific Demigod stat that makes rallies more powerful. You are able to improve these stats in two different ways. Upgrading Pantheon building levels, or completing Pantheon related research trees. When the Pantheon was first released, the number of Deities available far exceeded the amount that you were allowed to have activated. For instance, at the initial release, there were 8 deities but rally leads were only allowed to have 2 activated at once. You could switch them back and forth depending on which stats you wanted to boost in your rally. This is in stark contrast to the current Demigod Pantheon. There are around 17 Deities that provide Demigod stats, while rally leads are allowed to have 18 activated at once. So, the need to constantly change Deities to suit the rally lead is not there. A player can activate pretty much all Demigod Deities and forget about it until a new tree or new levels are released.
Pantheon Research
So far we have two research trees that are geared towards the Pantheon itself. These research trees both unlock and improve new Deities.
-
Demigod Pantheon
The Demigod Pantheon tree now brings the pantheon and the deities into the Demigod era. The three-part pantheon tree offers research to increase the usual combat stats, but also adds two new deities to the pantheon for players to activate. This is also the first tree that we will see “Empire Defender” stats come in to play.
In the pantheon research tree:
- Unlock Nike’s Aggression
- Increase Nike’s Aggression Strength
- Unlock Herme’s Fortitude
- Increase Herme’s Fortitude Strength
-
Demigod Prestige Pantheon
The Demigod Prestige Pantheon tree brings us quite a few new deities into the mix. The three sections of research mainly focus on increasing the new deities stats, along with increasing the number of tributes you can activate as well. The prestige pantheon tree also increases the stats of the previous pantheon tree deities, Hermes and Nike.
The research tree includes:
- Gaia’s Triad Burst unlock and increase
- Helio’s Triad Burst unlock and increase
- Pan’s Triad Burst unlock and increase
- Increased Tribute Slots I II and III
Pro Tip: Do not forget that the building itself gives you wonder stats when you upgrade levels!

Current Pantheon Max Benefits
The Demigod upgrades frequently, but the Pantheon itself is not on a per usual rotation like the trinity of building-hero-VIP. The Pantheon also does not fall under the special building instant upgrade list. It is a building with its own stats and materials to level up. Therefore, the building will have its own instant leveling items as well, so make sure you always search for those items when purchasing packs. This section we will update with every new Pantheon release, so do not forget to check back frequently for all new information
Max Pantheon Building
The Pantheon maxes out at level 1215 and adds on the following boost: (the amount in the parentheses is the increase from the last release)
- 38K Wonder Holding Attack (+4k)
- 28k Wonder Holding Health (+2k)
- 45K Wonder Holding Attack Debuff (+3k)
- 111k Wonder Holding Health Debuff (15k)
Demigod Deities
There is now a brand new Deity to add to the list in Demigod Pantheon. Erebus’ Darkness adds health and defense debuff. This is the first time we see debuffs in the deities, and since attack is more important than ever in some of the defenders’ builds, I think that it would be interesting to see a deity with attack debuff as well!
These are the current highest benefits from Deities after maxing the Pantheon and completing all associated research. (the amount in the parentheses is the increase from the last release)
- Erebus’ Darkness- Health and Defense Debuff 70k (+0)
- Hyperion Might- Type Attack 66k (+6k)
- Zeus’ Authority- Thunderlord Attack 77K (+9k)
- Ares’ Barrage- Firelord Attack 77k (+9k)
- Apollo’s Fire– Waterlord Attack 77K (+9k)
- Athena’s Scorn- Empire Rally Attack 62k (+8k)
- Poseidon’s Flood- Wonder Rally Attack 62k (+8k)
- Hades’s Darkness- Attack 60k (+5k)
- Hephaestus’ Prowess- Rally Health 47k (+6K)
- Dionysus’ Charm- Debuff to Enemy Rally Health while Holding the Wonder 58k (+4K)
- Deimos’s Fervor- Desert Storm Attack 66k (+8k)
- Demeter’s Wit- Gushing Lava Attack 66k (+8k)
- Hestia’s Malice- Flashing Whirlpool 66k (+8k)
