A Not So Quick Recap

We want to make sure that you are all caught up so, let’s look at the different parts of this series and recap each of them.

Part One

In part one of this series, we talked about the terminology. We defined different stats that are currently available in the Dragon War Dimension using our Quick Stat Dictionary and we began to look at what stats you need as different type of players. However, remember as the game continues evolving we may need to later add more terms to this to keep you in the know.

Here is our Stat Dictionary so you continue to be able to reference it quickly as we wrap up this series:

wdt_ID Terminology Definition What does it do?
1 Troop Attack Increases the Attack of your Troops This stat functions in a couple of different ways. As a Lead player, it allows you the ability to kill off more of your targets troops. As a defending player, it allows you to kill off more of your incoming attacker's march.
2 Troop Defense Increases the Defense of your Troops. While Attack allows the opportunity to kill off more troops from the opposing player, defense, helps to decrease your losses.
3 Troop Health / Troop HP Increases the HP of all Troops Health is Wheaties for your troops. If you look at the icon in the game it shows an arm with a muscle. Health strengthens your troops so they can endure in the battle.
4 Hero Attack Increase's your Hero's Attack against a Monster. Note!! Hero attack is for monsters not against troops or other players.
5 Infantry Attack
Cavalry Attack
Ranged Attack
Seige Attack
Increases the Attack of your Infantry Troops
Increases the Attack of your Cavalry Troops
Increases the Attack of your Ranged Troops
Increases the Attack of your Seige Troops
This is a type stat and dependent on the one you choose will only increase the attack of your Troops of that Type.
6 Type Armor Increases the Armor of your Infantry, Ranged, and Cavalry Troops. Armor is a Defense stat. This stat works for Infantry, Cavalry, and Ranged troops.
7 Type Attack Increases the Attack of your Infantry, Ranged, and Cavalry Troops Another Type stat that increases the Attack for your three troop types, Infantry, Cavalry, and Ranged.
8 Empire Assault Armor Provides an Armor Bonus for all Troop Types when attacking an enemy Empire. This stat is only useful when attacking other Strongholds. While Armor is a defensive stat this specific type protects the troops of the attacker when they are hitting other players Strongholds.
9 Empire Assault HP Provides an HP Bonus for all Troop Types when attacking an enemy Empire. This stat is for attacking other Strongholds only! This provides Health for the attacker's troops.
10 Empire Assault Attack Provides an Attack Bonus for all Troop Types when attacking an enemy Empire. This is once again for Attacking other Strongholds only. This provides attack stats for Attackers.

Part Two and Three

We began the series by taking a closer look at traps and where to find different stats as a trap or filler. For these players we discussed the importance of the following stats:

  • Attack
  • Defense
  • Health
  • Enemy Attack Debuff
  • Empire Defender Defense
  • Empire Defender HP
  • Empire Defender Attack

When looking at prioritization we discussed prioritizing based on what you need, however, we also discussed prioritizing in the following order:

  • Attack
  • Health
  • Defense
  • Attack Debuff
  • March Size (for Fillers)

Part Four and Five

For Part Four and Five of this series we focused in on Leads. When looking at leads we discussed the need to look at the following stats:

  • Attack
  • Health
  • Armor Piercing/Defense Debuff
  • Empire Assault Attack
  • Empire Assault Armor
  • Empire Assault HP
  • Rally March Size

When it came to prioritizing these stats we listed the following as priorities for these types of players:

  • Attack and March Size
  • Defense Debuff
  • Other Attacker Stats

Part Six and Seven

Finally, for part Six and Seven we took a look at Wonder Players. For Wonder Players we looked at the following stats:

  • Attack
  • Health
  • March Size
  • Wonder Strike Troop Attack
  • Wonder Defender Troop Attack
  • Wonder Troop Health
  • Wonder Troop Attack

When it came to prioritization the order depended on whether you were currently hitting or holding. However, we also discussed prioritizing March Size first. After March size the following were the priorities listed:

When Attacking Wonder

  • Attack
  • Rally Attack
  • Health
  • Health Debuff

When Holding Wonder

  • Health
  • Attack
  • Attack Debuff

Finding the Stats

In each of these sections, we discussed where you are able to find the different stats. While you will be looking at different stats in each scenario we covered the basics in each of these areas:

  • Research
  • Gear
  • Athena’s Armory
  • Boost Hall
  • VIP
  • Gems
  • Banners
  • Buildings
  • Potions

All of these areas are ones you will want to look at when you are building your account. You will also want to continue looking at which ones are providing the most of your stats as things within the game shift. By doing this you are able to ensure that you stay on top of your game and keep building towards success.

Moving Forward from Here

So we have made all of these recommendations and we have covered where to find the stats. However, there is some degree of customization we have to take into account. You cannot wear every set of gear or use every hero at the same time. Your account is going to be different from Billy Jo Bob’s account over there too based on spend and what features you have invested in.

So really what we are looking at now is knowing how to build your individual account based on the type of player you are. I can sit here all day and tell you what works for me but I am Billy Jo Bob. So let’s take some time for some tips on how to build your account as Sally (you’re Sally).

Top Five Realtips on How to Build Your Dragon War Dimension Stats

We have five Realtips to help you when you are building your account to be sure that you are able to adjust and change things as needed.

Realtip Number Five: As A Trap Remember the Importance of What People Can See

Hidden Stats Versus Visible Stats, this is probably one of the biggest things you will need to look at as a trap building your stats. While you may be able to get more stats from VIP a high VIP can decrease the number of hits you are getting due to the amount of stats that are present in VIP.

Great things that are hidden stats include Strategic Research and Mechanized Combat Research as these do not add power. In addition, Rewards research does not add power either. Other places to get hidden stats include potions, gems, Boost Hall, and buildings. While there is some degree of stats that you will have that are visible as a trap you definitely want to strengthen the stats that cannot be seen first.

Realtip Number Four: Focus on where you can expand your stats the most for the lowest cost

Players often cite the cost of the game. However, if you are not playing to be a supermax player the second a release comes out there are ways that you can look at packs and buy so that you can increase your stats the most at the lowest cost.

For example, say that you are comparing Research to VIP. Look at the amount of items in the research pack versus the VIP pack and see how far you will be able to increase your stats using each pack. The place you are able to increase your stats the most for the least cost is where you should invest.

Realtip Number Three: Do Not Look at Billy Jo Bob

I get it… It is so easy to look at Billy Jo Bob over there and compare your stats to his. Sometimes looking at the stats that other people are running can help to give us a guideline of where our stats should be. However, your account may be different from Billy Jo Bob’s because of x, y, or z.

You know your account better than anyone else. So do what works for you. For example, a small trap may want to focus more on building attack stats to maintain a low troop account while a trap with more troops may want to focus on building health stats and counting on their troops to kill off the march.

Realtip Number Two: Be Flexible

Be willing to change things midplay. Whether you switch a banner or change up your gear. Know how to read reports and what they are telling you and then go back to our articles on where you can get what stats and switch it up. Being willing to be flexible can take you a long way.

Realtip Number Six: TEST, TEST, TEST

Testing is important for every type of player. We covered how to test a little bit in our article for Leads. Traps test different gear combinations and different Hero setups.

Leads test different Heroes and different Gears. Wonder Players, when you are sitting around your Kingdom Wonder grab some friends and test different scenarios and have some fun at the same time. This will help you to in the long run to know how to adjust in different scenarios.

 How to Test Tutorial

  1. Determine what you want to test and find someone you trust to test with
  2. Give Clear instructions to your testing partner of what you need
  3. Run your first Test
  4. Have your testing partner reset so that the testing conditions remain the same between hits.
  5. Change your stats for the next test you want to run
  6. Compare Reports
  7. Repeat as necessary
